Boot sale review- Tripes Farm, Orpington

Tripes Farm
Chelsfield Lane
Orpington
BR6 7RS
Parking-Free
Open to buyers from 7am
www.tripesfarm.co.uk

Finally managed to take a few photos of boot sales, so onwards with the review!
Tripes Farm is located a short distance from Orpington High Street. It's on every fortnight and has free parking and entry. There are some really wonderful things to be found here especially because of it's surrounding area. You get quite a few elderly sellers selling off their vintage items for really great prices. It's not very busy which is also great because it means you don't get people walking into you whilst they are looking at the stalls which is one thing which really irritates me. There are a few market type stalls but they are mainly just selling food or kitchen goods and are usually situated together anyway so it's easy to skip that whole section. The downside to this boot sale is that it's smaller than other boot sales I go to so I usually head to another one close by when I'm done. The plus side is that it's free so no money lost if you haven't bought anything.

A treat

As you can probably guess, Vivienne Westwood is my favourite designer. I am a huge fan of the iconic orb and I am a sucker for anything by her. And although me and Mike unfortunately do not have a huge disposable income, I think it's nice to sometimes treat yourself. Which is the great thing about being thrifty, it enables you to put money aside and to buy yourself something nice every once in a while.
I am very lucky because Mike treated me to these Vivienne Westwood flats for our anniversary and also because I received some bad news which has made me extremely down in the dumps recently. They come in a range of colours and I chose the black pair as they'll go with everything.
I can't wait to wear them once the rain goes away! (yes, I complain about the weather a lot)

What's on over the weekend

The weather is looking pretty awful at the moment, despite this I am hoping that the weather changes and that it doesn't rain over the weekend so I can grab some bargains.

7 year anniversary & outfit of the day

Whilst everyone was celebrating the Jubilee, me and Mike had our own little celebrations as yesterday was our 7 year anniversary. Today we went for afternoon tea nearby which also seemed to fit in very well with the Jubilee. Unfortunately the weather was awful, hence why I didn't bother posting the Bank Holiday boot sales as they were all cancelled anyway.

Cardigan-Boot sale, Dress- Madam Sangrila, Bag-Vivienne Westwood, Tights-Vivienne Westwood, Bow flats-Topshop.

The cardigan was a recent boot sale purchase, I was a bit unsure of purchasing it at first because it's brown which I struggle to match but it turned out to be a really good purchase. I love how slouchy and baggy it is and it only cost £1.00. The dress is another recent purchase from one of my favourite little shops in Camden called Madam Sangrila, it's a quirky little shop full of unique dresses. Let's hope the sunny weather makes a return so I can wear this with cute little lace socks.
