Photos from Monica's Vintage Fair

Yesterday was Monica's Vintage Fair, it went well without any hiccups and me and Julia sold a decent amount considering the event was more catered to 40's style. I didn't buy anything which is a good thing for me and Mike was very proud when I told him, ha! It was very interesting seeing people's outfits, 40's curls and pretty dresses.
Here are some photos I took of the day, I didn't take many unfortunately. That's one thing I often do, I either take too many photos or not enough.
The following photo was taken on my mini Fuji Instax, I scanned the photo in and as you can see the quality of the scanning isn't very good.

This was our stall.

Monica's Vintage Fair

As promised here is the flyer for the vintage fair me and my friend Julia will be selling at. We've been collecting up goodies since November for this event, including pretty floral dresses, peter pan collars, chunky knitwear and lots of wonderful accessories. Even a few vintage designer bits chucked in as well. All very cheap!
I hope some of you can make it? It's only one week away now..oo final countdown!

Tapestry bag and Liberty

Just a little post showcasing my recent favourite boot sale purchases.

I was hesitant when it came to purchasing this bag. I am so glad I didn't walk away as I know I would have regretted it. It's the perfect size to use as a laptop bag as well and only cost £1.

Recently me and my friend Julia (who is also the person who made me my banner) went to visit a vintage wholesaler because we are going to be selling at a vintage fair in 2 weeks time (details to come soon). Julia luckily picked up a beautiful silk Liberty scarf for herself. I was very jealous to say the least but all was not lost as at a recent boot sale I managed to find my own Liberty scarf for a mere 50p! It's not in the best of condition but it's still very pretty and very 'in' with the current pastel trend.

Fifi Lapin iphone case

As my regular readers know, I am in love with Fifi Lapin so was overjoyed when Mike bought me the iphone case I had been swooning over from Iconemesis. It's so adorable and I am in love with the teacup design.
