Recent finds

As soon as the weather turns sunny I seem to find nice winter goods from boot sales and jumble sales. At least I'll be sorted come autumn time. I picked this A-M-A-Z-I-N-G jumper from a boot sale for only 40p. It reminds me of those cheesy Christmas jumpers you get.

Another jumper I picked up for only 20p! It will look great as a dress on those lazy days that you can't be bothered. I still can't believe I picked this up for so cheap!

As some of you may know I am obsessed with Blythe Dolls. I picked up this bag for 20p! It's the 2nd Blythe bag I have purchased from a boot sale which is very strange as Blythe is still a rare thing to come across.

I also bought these shorts, well they were actually trousers but I cut them up. I seem to be following a theme at the moment with buying stripey jeans and cutting them up. These only cost 50p.

Lastly, there was a jumble sale down my road the other week so I popped along and found this Chanel lipstick. It has a very 'vampirish' colour to it. And it only cost 20p! I'm a happy bunny!
I seem to be buying a lot for 20p recently.

Another haul

I'm going to introduce a new feature to my blog about local jumble sales and boot sales that are on every week, I'll be starting it from next week so look out for that as well as reviews on different boot sales in the area which I will be also starting soon.
My latest haul is a mixture of boot sale, jumble sale and charity shop goodies. The weather has been awful recently so I've given Mike a break from dragging him to early morning boot sales and we've had some nice lie-ins. I think he deserves it! These stripey shorts were originally some really unflattering jeans, you know the type? 80's high waist that make your hips look huge. I saw huge potential in these and decided to cut them up. Topshop do a similar pair with thinner stripes for £32. Mine only cost me £3.50!

I went to a jumble sale on Saturday. I got there at around 1.30 and was a bit early as it started at 2pm so me and Mike were going to chill out in the car but then we saw the queue which was already crazy long so we decided we might as well queue up as well. It was actually quite large inside and stretched over two rooms and even had furniture outside. I managed to pick up this sheep jumper for only 30p.

Lastly just two boot sale purchases. Bought this amazing shirt for 50p from a women who said that it belonged to her friend who bought it from Paris yonks ago. The collar has a cute little hedgehog and mushrooms embroidered onto it. How cute right? and to top if off the buttons are made to look like logs and hedgehogs.

I also purchased this binoculars bag for 50p. It's a really good size for keeping my instax camera in.

Outfit of the day

T-shirt-Boot sale, Shorts-Boot sale, Vans-Boot sale, Cath Kidston backpack-Ebay.

It's been a gloomy few days hasn't it? I've been wearing slouchy clothing recently, no point wearing pretty dresses when I'm just going to have to cover up with a coat and hood. Majority of my outfit is from a boot sale. I've jumped on the bandwagon of the crosses trend with my t-shirt, I feel a bit strange wearing it as I went to an all girls Catholic school so I'm not sure if I'm being a bit blasphemous. I couldn't say no though as it was only 50p. The denim shorts were also 50p although they are two sizes too big but I've decided to go back in time to my skater/grunger youth and bust slightly low and show off my wonderful star printed pants. I'm wearing a pair of Vans also which I purchased recently, they cost £3 and are really comfy and good for my lazy days. The backpack is Cath Kidston but I purchased it from Ebay, it's so cute!
Also, have you noticed there are no face shots? My hair is a mess and I was wearing no make-up. See, I told you it was a slouchy, lazy day.
