Starbucks freebie

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Been very busy and when I'm not busy all I want to do is rest and chill out in my PJ's.
For now I will leave you with this photo I took on my phone. I went to Starbucks yesterday and they were giving away mini mugs and saucers. I managed to grab the last set but unfortunately it has a tiny chip at the back but isn't anything major as I'm only going to use it as a display item in the house :) So cute isn't it?

Fifi Lapin for Juicy Couture

If you are a fan of the delightfully stylish bunny Fifi Lapin then you definitely must take a look at the collaboration with Juicy Couture. For me personally, I often picture velour tracksuits when I think of Juicy Couture but put that aside and take a look at these beautiful silk scarves.

I think the red one is my favourite, just in time for Valentines Day. It would make the perfect gift which is clearly me hinting to my fiance ha! Is it sad that I like to think the bunnies are me and Mike? The scarves are oozing with cuteness and if you don't fancy a scarf then other items from the capsule collection include sketchbooks, cards and even a watercolour set to use in your pretty sketchbook.
I'm not sure if this is being released in the UK. I did try to find out at my local store but was met with a confused expression. Can anyone else shed some light on this?

Outfit of the day

Dress-Ebay

Finally got round to doing another 'outfit of the day'. Sorry for the bad quality images. Me and Mike went to Brighton today and I originally planned to get some photos outside but it was too cold and I'd probably take off with the wind. So we took these once we got home, bad lighting and bad hair. Not to mention my shoes are not in sight as I was standing on our bed. Ahh well, moving on. The dress was a recent purchase from Ebay. I absolutely love the shape, I am obsessed with babydoll style dresses so this is perfect and only cost me £5.70 including postage. I paired it with some black Underground creepers and a chunky knit cardigan.
We also did some major charity shopping, must have visited around 18 charity shops...which means tons of walking. We didn't buy anything worth mentioning. Found a lovely Cath Kidston table cloth but it had a stain on it and I wasn't really up for spending £7.99 on it, especially if the stain didn't come out. We popped over to a boot sale as well, bought some Hello Kitty items for 50p each but I won't bore you with that as I'll be writing for hours about my obsession.

Happy New Year!

I thought it would be quite nice to do a round-up of a few of my favourite second hand purchases (charity shops and boot sales combined) from 2011. Obviously I have so many buys that I wanted to include in this but tried to dwindle it down as much as I could otherwise it would be like a jigsaw puzzle trying to piece the photos together.

Baby pink Dr Martens, Bell jar, Lace peter pan collar blouse, Chanel atomiser, Glass locket, Crystal ball ring, Mini ballet shoes from Royal Opera House, Peter rabbit jumper, Fuji instax 7 mini camera, Vivienne Westwood purse, Tapestry jewellery box, Corduroy red dress, Bleach effect high waist shorts with lace, Blythe bag.

Let's hope 2012 brings lots of treasures.
