I have always been a fan of Dr Martens, ever since I went through the whole 'grunge' phase at age 13, walking around thinking I was so 'misunderstood' in my baggy band hoody and jumping into mosh pits. It's strange how times have changed and how they are considered fashionable now in comparison to 8 years ago. Nevertheless they are amazing and despite having quite a high price tag, it is worth every penny because these boots last for YEARS! I am telling you, I'll be wearing these when I am 70 years old at this rate. I love them so much I have 4 pairs! Used to be 5 but I sold my dark purple metallic ones a few years back. I have a dark pink pair which I have worn to Japan and back (literally!), a limited edition Hello Kitty pair in white with blue soles and a red bow on the sides (Did I mention I have her tattooed to my wrist and that I am obsessed?), a standard black pair and my latest edition is a pair of baby pink ones which I picked up at a boot sale last week for £10. Very chuffed about that as I have been wanting some baby pink ones to replace my battered dark pink ones and now I have them and didn't have to shed out £60 yay! Happy days!

ReplyDeleteThose pink ones are making me very envious! Funnily enough I mentioned Doc Martens on my post today, they are all I wore in the 1980s. x
